the artist
Angeleena Hook is a senior undergraduate student studying at the University of Missouri, obtaining a BA in both Art and in Digital Storytelling with an emphasis in animation. They were a part of the Visual Arts and Design Showcase in 2023.
Their interests mostly consist of the traditional forms of art such as painting and pencil/charcoal drawing as well as digital painting, drawing, and animation.Through their work they seek to explore differing signs, symbols, and topics such as identity, the history of different folktales or urban legends, sociology and psychology, and cultural expectations and norms.
